Traditional or modern- you don’t always have to compromise.

Despite being in building industry for decades, we faced a dilemma of our own when decidede to upgrade our own house.

After endlessly searching for perfect tiles for our bathrooms, we came across microcement and we knew that this is what we wanted- no- needed.

With so many microcement products on the market, we knew we had to do our own research. We narrowed it down to only a handful.

Mirocement (often referred to as micro-screed or micro-concrete) is a highly versatile, continous coating that brings a sleek, architectural finish to any space. Unlike traditional polished concrete, our premium microcement is applied by hand in thin layers (just 2-3mm thick), meaning it can be applied directly over existing surfaces- including tiles, plaster board and timber.

It offers a compltetly seamle, joint-free finish that is as practical as it is beautiful.

After trying them, we eventually decide that Luna (Forcrete) was the one. There were few main reasons:

Before we even began, we had to go thought rigorous training at their facilities so we would install the microcement in the way that was intended. For example, there are different procedures during installation of the wall and different installation to the floor. The reason is that the floor needs to be naturally thougher.
Every layer of microcement applied is itself waterproof.
There is a choice of 3 different textures that are available, whilst also sparkles, shells and other textures can be added.
The colour palette is endless and could be matched to any RAL colour palette or a bespoke colour of your choosing.

So therefore, the end result is truly a bespoke, beautiful, seamless surface.

And the best bit? If later down the line you fancy an upgrade, all you need to is to sand down the sealer, apply 2 new top coats, plus new sealer and voila...
